About us

  • Conservation program

    We are a collaborating entity of the Regional Ministry of the Environment for the following actions:

     

    • Project for the conservation of the native species Olive Ridley Turtle (Testudo Graeca) and Common Chameleon (Chamaeleo Chamaeleon) and the allochthonous species Slider Turtle (Testudo Marginata).
    • Environmental outreach program.

     

    Our work consists in the fact that, being irrecoverable animals, we have the double objective of guaranteeing the life of these animals and bringing the knowledge of these species closer to the public.

     

    The housing of these species in our park contributes to their well-being as individuals, since being irrecoverable, they are not suitable for introduction into the environment.
